Whiteout

(--- speculated lyrics ---)

Heads in the speakers
Front of the cone
Shivers the timbers
Wow!

Now he's headed for the hills
And the snows in the yard
Who wants to be a Creem Dream
And wants to be a star

But the bride's in the aisle
With a hand on the gun
She got hysterical blindness
Here she comes and she comes

I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you
Whiteout

Oh it's just part of the story of a band on the run
Hey, they say they're bound for glory but they tied up for fun
Well, they're hung by a jury
A, takin' time out for lunch
Oh, don't you wanna try it?
Eh, Cannapple Crunch

I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you
Whiteout

I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you again and again and again and again
I wanna see you, I wanna see you
Whiteout

comments

quoted from the VH1.com article 'Deborah Harry: Track by Track':

"The chorus says it all, but it's about losing the chance of a relationship because the other person is involved with drugs. It's a fairly obvious parallel in a lot of people lives. It was fun to write a really straight-out rock song that had a great sort of punk feel to it."
