I'm Christina, 25 years old, from Hamburg in Germany. I'm the sole owner and creator of this website.
I began work on this page in March 2005. I am not a professional webdesigner, nor do I plan to become one.
I had worked on the basics for about five months until the first reasonable result launched in August 2005.
I've had a strong passion for Deborah since January 1999 when 'Maria' began to receive major airplay. I saw her for the first time on the VH-1 documentary 'Behind The Music' and immediately fell in love. From then on I have developed a great devotion to her as a person, her music and movies, and everything else related to her. Deborah is to me the most gorgeous woman ever with the loveliest voice and is ever the source of my inspiration. I love her more than words could ever express.
While Deborah is on tour I try to catch every show I can as there is absolutely nothing in the world that makes me happier than seeing her live.
I built this website not only to express my respect and affection for Deborah Harry but also with the intention of having an online presentation that does her, her great artistry and wonderful personality justice and to share this with her many fans.
This site is absolutely non-commercial and developed with the aim to become one of the most essential resources for the Deborah Harry and Blondie fan community. Seeing the number of visitors increase monthly and receiving plenty of nice fan emails with requests, suggestions or acknowledgment is an extra incentive for me to update this page on a regular basis. Also, I gratefully receive various contributions by fans (eg. images or scans), which help to make the gallery - currently with more than 10,000 pictures - one of the largest on the internet.
I often awake with new ideas for the site. Some take longer to realize than others. However, expect this website to grow even larger in the future, as it is the greatest pleasure for me to keep it up-to-date and add new stuff frequently. Also, if you would like to share your ideas you're more than welcome to do so. Contributions by other fans are always very much appreciated and confirm the variety and quality standard of this webpage.
