In this section you find a list of questions I received in emails over the past years of deborah-harry.com's existence. They solely affect the site management and its contents.
I. You've got plenty of pictures on your site - do you use every picture you find?
II. Can I get an autograph through your site?
III. This page must cost you quite a bit - can I donate to your page?
IV. Did you use any templates for the creation of the layout or did anyone help you?
V. This page is HTML only - don't you like Flash?
VI. Is (web)design your profession?
VII. Can I use any of your pictures?
I. You've got plenty of pictures on your site - do you use every picture you find?
- Simply no. Every picture and source is carefully checked by me before I upload it to the website. I avoid using pictures that appear to be disadvantageous or compromising in any respect. I also refrain from using pictures that show Deborah in private situations or contain nudity. I like to stress that this is not done due to legal matters but solely out of respect for Deborah as a person.
This page is dedicated to her and was created for her. Everything on this website was and will be published with the intention of being in her best interest.
II. Can I get an autograph through your site?
- If you would like an autograph, please contact Deborah's management.

III. This page must cost you quite a bit - can I donate to your page?
- I do not want any donations. I have absolutely no financial interest associated with the maintenance of this page.
IV. Did you use any templates for the creation of the layout or did anyone help you?
- Nope.
V. This page is HTML only - don't you like Flash?
- I know the basics of Macromedia Flash MX and Flash 8 and would perhaps be able to build a somewhat decent Flash site. The main reason I don't use it is that many visitors might not be able to view it due to lack of plug-ins. Furthermore, a proper Flash page takes a lot of time to load and requires some patience. Plus, search engines cannot find Flash content as they only read text.
However, I do not rule out the possibility of embedding some Flash elements, such as animated banners, in the future.
VI. Is (web)design your profession?
- Not at all. Webdesign is and will remain a hobby of mine that keeps me busy in my free time. I'm actually a studying philologist.
VII. Can I use any of your pictures?
Since I am not the copyright owner of most pictures, you can download and save as many images to your hard drive as you like.
However, I'd be pleased if you mentioned the source by linking back to deborah-harry.com in case of using a picture for your own website (this does, of course, not apply to Deborah, other members of Blondie past and present and people randomly appearing in images published on this website).
