Jimmy Destri: It was one of the fastest records we made. As a matter of fact, "Eat To The Beat" was one of the fastest albums we made.
Nigel Harrison: "Eat To The Beat" was a big turning point. We were used to building tracks for "Parallel Lines." But "Eat To The Beat" had a different vibe. "Parallel Lines" was very cynical. With "Eat To The Beat" we fully expected to do 22 takes for each track but it didn't happen that way. It became a very organic record. Raw and alive.
